Interested in any info on Cornelius Rhodes, son of Abraham, who moved from St. Marys County Maryland, to Kentucky in the early 1800's, and then on to Perry County Missouri. Welcome any contact with anyone from that line or close to it.

Also very interested in a John, William, and Sylvarious (or Sylvanious) Rhodes who were listed as living in Louisiana at the time of their father Cornelius' death in 1844.

I am the granddaughter of Rady Rhodes Garrett and Elige Garrett. I am interested in knowing about them. My mothers sister described Elige a little different in looks them my mother and its been a mistery for me 62 years. Mother said he was dark complected and worked in a coal mine. Her sister said he worked in a ice cream factory. I am so confused. I am also wondering if my mother did have a different father. And I would like to know whom he was? Or my Aunts father was? 2 different descriptions of their father and my aunt would get mad to talk about him. What do you want to know for?? And what she said, was totally different than what my mother said. If he was black its ok, I just want to know the truth.

Hi, I am wanting to talk with anyone who has information on Henry Rhodes born September 1, 1792 in Ky or possibly TN. His census states both places for his birth. Also, I would love to know who his father and mother were. I have been told Thomas Rhodes born 1742 in Oxfordshire England, but noone has ever shown proof. Also, Henry's wife was Elizabeth Barnes. My great great grandfather was Isaac Richard Rhodes and he married Nancy Rachel Rhodes. they were orginally from the carolina and moved to Henderson co. First of all, it is great to see so many people intersted in the Rhodes family history. I have just started my research and am stumped at Asa Mizell Rhodes (1824/26-1863). Born in SC and died in Cottonwood, Houston, AL. From what I can tell, he had an uncle named Calvin Rhodes. Below is the Family tree up to Asa:

Looking for information on Sylvester Rhodes, born 1877 possibly in Missouri? He was my great grandfather, died in Arkansas, and is buried with is wife, Mary Etta, at Sidon Cemetery...all help is appreciated!

I'm looking for the ancestry of Elizabeth RODES/RHODES, born on 17 Sep 1746 in MD and died on an unknown date in Hancock Co., GA. She married around 1768 in MD to John WALLER, Sr., born on 13 Mar 1749 in MD and died in 1808 in Hancock Co., GA.

According to "The Chesapeakers: Waller Descendants From the Chesapeake Bay, Old Somerset Co., MD (1654 - 1985)" by Charles S. Waller, Sr., her father's name was Daniel RODES/RHODES and she was the great-granddaughter of a Dr. John RODES/RHODES. I'm a descendant of Charles Rodes/Rhodes WALLER through my mother's side. If anyone can be of any help, it'd be much appreciated. I'll be happy to exchange information.

Jonathan Willis Rhodes is a great "artfull dodger" as some before me and now myself have attempted to connect him to parents and siblins to no avail. He is found on 1850 Hunt Co., TX Census living with Martin Stone who's sister, Matilda Stone, he marries ca 1851. Is mentioned in her fathers Will, is found in a book on Hunt Co., TX. and that's it. He and Matilda had two children one in 1853, one in 1855. On census he reports he was born in 1832 in AR, he his name is spelled ROADS on this census. Any help with Willis Rhodes will be appreciated.
