Civil War three years, part of the time fighting Indians on the plains,
afterward in the southwest states; married May 10, 1847, Esther K.
Murdock, born January 2, 1828, daughter of Dr. Hiram and Hannah (Sabin)
Murdock of Pulaski, New York, of New England descent;
