JACOB RHODES, Pleasant township, farmer, and son of John and Elizabeth Rhodes, was born in Licking county, Ohio, April 20, 1836. On the twenty-first day of January, 1861, he was united in marriage with Miss Mary Hunt, born in this county January 17, 1835, and daughter of Richard and Nancy Hunt. They settled in Morgan township, and remained until 1876, when he purchased and moved on the farm in Pleasant township, where they are now living. Their union resulted in five children—two sons and three daughters. He has followed farming as his vocation.
