Thursday 9 Dec 1915, page 1: "Julia Schriner, wife of George Schriner, died last evening at 5:30 pm at the residence of Randall Sellers and family, southwest of Bremen, from the effects of concussion of the brain caused by a fall she suffere d a few days ago. She had been an invalid for ten years or more, and for the past two years had been able to help herself but little. both she and her husband made their home with the Randall Sellers and family, Mrs. Sellers being a daughter . The funeral will be held Sunday, leaving the residence at 10 o'clock for Riverside Church. Mrs. Schriner was born in PA, but has lived in this vicinity for half a century or more. In addition to the daughter, Mrs. Sellers, a son, John Walte rhouse of the same neighborhood, survives the mother. Mrs. Schriner would have been 87 years old in February." In 1870 Census for Marshall Co Indiana, shows Julianne with James Hendrix and with John age 3. No record of divorce or death cert for Phillip Walterhouse. James Hendrix died in 1877 and by 5 Aug 1878 she marries George Schriner in Marshall C o Indiana. John was raised as a stepson by George and is shown in his household in 1880 Census of Marshall Co Indiana, age 13 yrs.
