Gatha Ellen Rhodes Wesfall, 89, of Spencer, formerly of Harmony, died
Saturday, March 2, 1991, in Roane General Hospital, after a brief
illness.
She was born at Ryan, the daughter of the late Christopher Marion and
Artimisha Westfall Rhodes. She was a homemaker anda member of the
Ryan Methodist Church.
She is survived by five daughters, Geneva Hague of Mingo Junction,
Ohio, Pauline Williams of Torch, Ohio, Dorothy Mills and Betty Mills,
both of Parkersburg, and Barbara Fields of Harmony; one sister, Alcie
Rhodes of Spencer; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and two
great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Herman Westfall, one
son, Lonnie Holbert Westfall, and one grandson, Ronald Morgan.
Services were held Monday at Vandale Funeral Home, with Rev. Otho West
officiating. Burial was in the Hunt Cemetery, Harmony.
