Born ca. 1705 in Charles County, MD. Received two grants of land: 100 acres in the Manor of Zachia in Charles County; Darnall's Delight, on 5 August 1726. Died intestate and his estate was inventoried 13 May 1735. Inventory signed by Sam Middleton and J. Smith. Edward and Thomas Darnall being named as nearest of kin. Rachell Darnell administered the estate 16 July 1735. The names of John and Rachel were spelled Darnell, of Edward and Thomas, Darnoll. Three children were mentioned but not named in the settlement of the estate.
