Deed dated 19 Dec 1881 between Abram R. Rhodes and his wife, Elizabeth, on the one part, and their three sons, Warren
Rhodes, Edgar L. Rhodes and Nelson P. Rhodes, on the other part. In consideration of natural love and affection and the sum of
one dollar, Abram and Elizabeth sell their sons a sixty acre tract on which they currently live, while maintaining a life estate. The tract
is in Columbia Township and is known as the Stafford Land. It is also the land that Elizabeth inherited from her father, William Etheridge. Land was originally patented by Lemuel Stafford. Deed registered in Probate Court 26 April 1883 and termed a certificate of probate.
