Thanks to Brenda Magee , for sending  me the following, Brenda the 4th great-granddaughter of Beacham RHODES.  Beacham RHODES ( b: 1762 in MD ) ( d: 1826 in Hart County , KY ), (also see: Rhoades/Rhodes/Roads/Rodes'/etc that served in the American Revolution, and Harrowing and tragic tale of Beechum Rhodes, with his friend Robert Stockton, in frontier Fleming Co. KY in 1789). Beacham married Margaret McCARTNEY in 1784.    Margaret was born in 1764 & died after 1804 in KY .

Des Moines , Polk Co, IA .   John  married ( 2 ) Charlotte Amelia ( EDGERTON ) ( YOUNG ) , dau. of Samuel EDGERTON & Elizabeth ( SPEAR ) , on 16 Mar 1864 in Ft. Des Moines ,  Polk Co, IA .
 
John BAIRD was one of the founding fathers of Des Moines , Polk Co, Iowa .   He moved to the Iowa territory in the early 1840's , settling near the Des Moines River & starting his family there .  Later he moved to western Iowa .   After the death of his second wife , he lived out his remaining years with his son's family [ Harlan BAIRD & Mary Jane ( Minnie ) ( STONE ) ] & died in Missouri .   No grave has been found for him .
