BURIAL: Funeral services for Lola Montgomery Skinner, 83, of Florien,
were held Monday, Nov. 6, 1995, at Mount Carmel Baptist Church,
with Rev. Larry Deloach officiating. Mrs. Skinner died Nov. 5,
1995, and was buried at Middlecreek Cemetery.

BURIAL: Mrs. Skinner was born on Feb. 25, 1912, in the Middlecreek
Community, to Pete W. Isgitt and Martha Rhodes Isgitt. She was
the widow of Clarence Montgomery, and Monroe Skinner.

BURIAL: Survivors include 4 sons, Ray Montgomery of Lafayette, La.,
Hulan Montgomery, Bob Montgomery, and Chester Montgomery, all of
Houston, Texas; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 niece;
and 3 nephews; and a host of close friends.

Peter married Martha Ella RHODES on 11 Jan 1905. Martha (daughter of David Abraham RHODES and Amanda Foshee) was born on 24 Mar 1887 in Natchitoches Parish, La; died on 14 Aug 1975 in Florien, Sabine Parish, Louisiana; was buried in Mt. Mrs. Ella Isgitt

Mrs. Ella Isgitt, 88, of Many, died in Heritage Manor Nursing
Home on Sunday, Aug. 10, at 9:50 p.m., following an extended
illness.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Lola Skinner of Florien;
three sisters, Viola Owens of Many, Jane Self of Opelousas, and
Belle Frantom of Shreveport; 8 grandchildren, and 15 great
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church on
Tuesday, Aug. 12, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Virgil Taylor, and the
Rev. Johnny Rhodes officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel
Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

David married Amanda Foshee on 19 Mar 1885 in Natchitoches Parish, La. Amanda was born about 1866 in Vowells Mill, Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana; died about 1911 in Vowells Mill, Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana; was buried in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana.
