I have drawn to the conclusion my Gr-Gr-Gr-Grandfather William Rhodes' and Thomas Rhodes, his grave shown below may have been cousins. They where living in neighboring counties in the 1770, William enlisted in the Revolution in 1775 out of Alexandria, in Fairfax County, VA. Thomas Rhodes enlisted in to the War 1777 at Leesburg, Loudoun County. After the war they were living in Hampshire County Virginia. William left Hampshire County, move Mason County, KY, where he lived ten or twelve years, then to Greene County OH, and for a time Thomas also lived there.
