MRS. ALBERT McBRIDE INTERRED
Another link which united the past of our small city to the present day, was severed with the death and interment of Mrs. Albert McBride, aged 92, of Denver, Colorado, which occurred during the past week.
Mrs. McBride died in Denver last Friday; the remains were cremated, and the ashes interred in Pine Tree cemetery, Corunna, on Monday, at four o'clock in the afternoon, being brought here by Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Carmody- Mrs. Carmody the former Miss Jennie McBride. Rev. William Schlitts of the local M.E. Church read the committal service.
Atty. and Mrs. Albert McBride and their fine family were prominent residents of Corunna for many years, Atty. McBride serving as prosecuting attorney of the county in the late 1890's. He practiced law here previous to that time and later, and enjoyed the esteem of scores of friends. His health failed in later years, and about forty years ago the family moved to Denver, hoping to benefit his condition. Mrs. McBride was a gentle and most kindly lady loved by scores of friends. She had reached a grand old age, surrounded by the love of her daughter and family, and other relatives. A son, Walter McBride, passed away early in July of this year.
Many friends here extend sympathy to Dr. and Mrs. Carmody in the departure of this loved one from their circle.
