Obit for Mrs. H. B. Sweeney It is with sincere regret th a t friends in Monroe County have learned of the death of M rs . H. B. Sweeney which occurred suddenly last Saturday mo rni ng, Jan., 24, 1931, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. I . B . Bush, in Charleston. Mrs. Sweeney, who was about 7 7 year s of age, was a native of this county and lived fo r many ye ars on Wolf Creek. After their children grew to s chool age , she and her husband moved to Athens to obtain t he benefit s of the educational opportunities there. Late r the famil y went to Charleston. Mrs. Sweeney is survive d by two daug hters, Mrs. L.B. Bush of Charleston, and Mrs . J. P. Dyer o f Princeton, and four sons, Messrs. Frank, R oy and Arthur S weeney of Charleston and Wilbur Sweeney o f Huntington. Sh e also leaves two sisters, Mrs. A. C. Lyn ch of Union and Mr s. D. S. Lowe of Huntington. A brother , Mr. J. H. Crosie r of Ronceverte, died about a year ago . Funeral services f or Mrs. Sweeney were held in Charlesto n on Sunday after whi ch her remains were laid to rest besi de the grave of her hu sband in a cemetery there.
