Obit for Hugh B. Sweeney A brief notice appears in the Cha r leston Gazette of yesterday announcing the death of Mr. H ug h B. Sweeney, as follows: "Funeral services for H. B. Sw een ey, 77, who died Monday evening, have not been definit el y arranged pending arrival of relatives. He is survive d b y the widow, two daughters, Mrs. I. B. Bush of Charlest on , and Mrs. J. P. Dyer of Princeton and four sons, Messr s . F. C. and R.C. Sweeney of Charleston, A.H. Sweeney of P a rkersburg, and W. L. Sweeney of Huntington. "Mr. Sween e y was born in Monroe County and lived here for a numbe r o f years in the vicinity of Johnson's Cross Roads. Late r h e moved to Athens, W. VA and in recent years had made h is h ome in Charleston. He was a brothercin?law of Mrs. A . C. L ynch of Union and Col. J. H. Crosier of Ronceverte . He als o leaves many other relatives and friends in thi s section w ho truly regret to learn of his leavectaking o f life.
