All indications are that Joseph was the youngest child of William & Mary
(Norwood) Glover. He moved with his brothers John, William & George to
Granville Co. N.C. from VA in mid 1740, settling with them in the Island Creek
District. He remained in N.C. when his other brothers moved south, but all his
sons, except DANIEL, migrated to South Carolina 1785-90. There are numerous
sales & purchases of land in Granville Co. N.C. for Joseph Glover.SEE-PUB
