Kenley Freeman:
Glen worked for the railroad as a mechanic. Bowen St. is fairly near to the RR tracks. My father used to tell me that when his mother cooked, she always cooked a little extra. The "hobos" knew that when the train stopped in Logan near Bowen St. that they could find something to eat at a house there. As long as they came to the back door, my grandmother always fed them.
