- !"Mrs. Nancy Ann Sears went to rest at 8:45 p.m. Tuesda y , 3 Dec 1928. - She came to Chautauqua County, Kansas , at the age of 15 with he r parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delane y Swinney from Boon County, Iowa, at which plac e she was b orn, 14 Feb 1859, was converted and joined the Baptist Chur ch at 1 6 years of age, and remained a faithful christian u nto death. - She married Z acharia T. Sears of Chautauqu a County, 1 Aug 1875. To this union were born 1 4 children , nine sons, five daughters of which the father and seven c hildren prece ded her in death. Seven remain to survive her ; Walter Sears, Pawhuska; Jess S ears, Tulsa; Mrs. O. C. Sn odgrass, Tulsa; Call Sears, Pond Creek; N. M. Hubby, P awhu ska; L. A. Bowman, Pawhuska, who were all at her bedside wh en the en d came. - Also three sisters and two brothers r emain; Mrs. Fannie Prudom of Spri ngfield, Mo.; Mrs. Alph a Malone of Springdale, Ark.; Mrs. Malenda Bear, Wichit a ; Mr. John Sweeney of Peru, Kans; Mr. Riley Sweeney, of Osa ge County. - Brot her George C. Boston, pastor of Baptis t church, will conduct funeral at J ohnson's Chapel at 10 a .m. Wednesday. Body will be laid to rest at Oak Grov e cem etery near Elgin in the family lot. Funeral services ther e will be held a t 7 o'clock p.m. Brother Jacobs, her forme r pastor of Elgin, Kans., Baptis t church, will conduct fun eral there at 1 o'clock."
