EDWIN worked most of his life in the circulare knitting trade, During the depression from 1927 thru 1928 he moved to delaware were he managed a knitting room. when his father became ill with T.B. he moved back to nelliston,N.Y. were he worked in the knitting room for Baily Knitting Co and later Gilbert Knitting. he also helped operate the Elm's Hotel in Nelliston ,N.Y. with his father.until the prohibition bill was repeld they sold out and he remained with the knitting co until 1449 when the family purchased the Canada Lake Store and in 1960 , Pine Lake were he operated the midway thru 1976.,when the property was sold.
During the depression and early 30's he was a emergency medical officer with the w.p.a. working on several jobs including the Montgomery county farm Renovation. Served most of his life as a fireman with the Nelliston fire dept.
