  Obituary notice found in Bible of Daniel Baugher: "Mrs. Mary Johnson, 84, life-time resident of the county, died of a heart attack at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Elmer Bibler, three miles south of North Webster. Mrs. Johnson, widow of a Pierceton physician, Dr. Allen E. Johnson, moved to the North Webster community following his death in 1939. She was born in North Webster, Feb. 9, 1870, the daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth (Stemler) Baugher. Her marriage to Dr. Johnson occurred Nov. 26, 1918. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Weaver, of Nappanee, and a number of nieced and nephews. Last rites will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Troxel funeral home, North Webster, with intermentin Hillcrest cemetery, Pierceton. Friends will be received at the funeral home."
