  The TimesRecord/Roane County Recorder Thursday, August 25, 1988 Roscoe Rhodes, 76, of Pinch died Wednesday, August 17, 1988, in Memorial Division, CAMC, after a short illness. He wasa native of Roane County. He was a former employee of Wright Tire and Battry Co.,Charleston. Surviving; sons, William J. of Mill Creek Road, Bobby of Waynesville, N.C.; daughter Bonnie Miller of Kings Land, Ark.; stepson, Charles B. Dorsey of Lextington, Ky., stepdaughters, Carol Arnold of Finch, JoAnn Sparks of Summerville, 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren. Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hafer Funeral Home, Elkview, with the Rev. Bobby Sizemore officiating. Burial was in the Morris Cemetery, Quick Road, Elkview.
