  BURIAL: Mrs. Della C. Rhodes, Sabine Parish, Sabine Index, Many, LA,Sep 11, 1969 BURIAL: Mrs. Della Rhodes, 86, died in Shreveport, Sept. 5, after anextended illness. BURIAL: Mrs. Rhodes is survived by four sons, Ottis Rhodes ofShreveport, Roy Rhodes of Houston, Tex., Ray Rhodes of WhittierCalif., and Hollis Rhodes of Shreveport; a daughter, Mrs. Opal Russellof Shreveport; three stepsons, Levi Reese of Robeline, Cecil Rhodes ofShreveport, and Arthur Rhodes of Orange, Tex.; a step daughter, Mrs.J. H. Hortman of Grand Rapids, Mich.; 46 grandchildren; and a numberof great grandchildren. BURIAL: Funeral services were held at the Ft. Jesup Baptist Church,Sept. 7, with the Rev. Jerry Schmucker officiating. Burial was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of WarrenMeadows Funeral Home of Many. Pallbearers were the grandsons, Johnnie Rhodes, Elvin Rhodes, HarveyRhodes, Elmer Reece, David Rhodes, and Lewis Rhodes.
