  Oliver Waite was born June 13, 1741 at Exeter RI. He was the son of Joseph Waite and Elizabeth Gifford. Oliver died March 14, 1817 at the age of 75, and was buried at Jonesville Cemetery, Clifton Park, Saratoga NY. Oliver resided at Half Moon Saratoga (1790 census). October 20, 1775 Ensign Oliver Waite served in the Revolutionary War in the 4th Company Ballston District NY in Saratoga co. His will was proved March 26, 1818 at Saratoga Springs. He mentions wife Sibyl, sons Solomon, Henry, Oliver jr. and Joseph; daughters Elizabeth Burt, Martha Cleveland, Pega Peters, Anna Weeks, Polly Chesney, Sybyl Brunson, and also mentions Amy McCourtee, whose relationship is unknown. He married Sibyl Sackrider Sep. 11, 1763. She was born May 29, 1744. Sibyl died Oct 19, 1818 at the age of 74, and was burried at Jonesville Cemetery, Clifton Park, Saratoga NY.
