Note: Henry was an early settler of Hill Valley. He was a farmer and owned a saw mill. Bought property in 1814. 1850 census lists his age as 77 and real estate $7,000.

Hill Valley lies along R. 747 S. from Mt. Union, PA. Property was at intersection of R. 747 and 31029, about 6 miles south of Mt. Union.

It is believed that the Rhodes came to the U.S. from the Swiss-German area of the Palatinate since recorded affiliation has been Church of the Brethren and Mennonites.

Both Daniel and Abigail (Rhodes?) are buried at Sugar Run Church of Brethren, PA. The Church is still in use.

The above three children are buried beside Harry and Annie in the Mt. Union cemetery.

Olive Roberts married Blaine C. Crum of Mt. Union on 3-24-10
b. April 25, 1886 d. Sept. 17, 1956

Blaine C. Crum, and his sons Edward, Blaine Jr. and Kenneth had a chain of bakeries called Crum's Bakeries in the Hampton/Newport News area of Virginia 1944-1995, approximately.
